The castable plastic pin is used as a parallelometer key and, after casting, as a centering pin to connect and balance the prosthesis during the insertion phase, especially when there are no counter-milling operations. The male metal and female nylon components are available with a length of 5mm, but can be reduced, without changing the functionality up to a length of 3.5mm.
